iEcosphere - Stay 'Naturally Curious'
About Me
Hello – I’m Jose, a geographer, filmmaker, naturalist and the founder of iEcosphere. My journey began in the quiet, often overlooked spaces of the natural world. Wildlife and the natural environment has been a lifelong passion for me and I hope to share this love with as many people as possible and to inspire as many people as possible.
From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the rhythms of our planet – the way ecosystems function, the impact of climate change, and the deep inequalities that shape people’s access to nature and opportunity. Over time, this passion evolved into a calling: to create something that not only educated, but inspired. That’s why I founded iEcosphere – a platform that bridges science, storytelling, and social change.
As a Young Darwin Scholar, BTO Youth Representative and producer & director of BioVerse TV, I’ve had the privilege of exploring how geography, biology, and community intersect. Whether through academic work, media projects, or community outreach, my goal remains the same: to reconnect people with the living world, and to highlight how environmental justice is human justice.
iEcosphere exists because I believe that education should be open, nature should be accessible, and young people should have a voice in shaping the future.
